The vape industry has exploded over the past few years, and the evidence is stacking up. There is some solid data indicating that smokers that switch to vaping may be an effective way to quit altogether. For those that do not understand the differences between cigarettes and E-Cigs/Vapes, it all boils down to what you are inhaling.

Smoking traditional cigarettes exposes the user to over 4000 chemicals, including nicotine, tar, formaldehyde, ammonia, arsenic and DDT. There are over 500 ingredients in a cigarette, and many of them are known to cause cancer. Secondhand smoke from cigarettes spreads the risks of smoking to other family members, including children. Reducing your toxic footprint is important for your health now, and in the future.

There are conflicting reports floating around on the internet about the dangers of exchanging vapes for traditional cigarettes, and the absolute truth will not be known for many years. That said, there have been ample studies documenting the fact that vape juice is less toxic than smoke.

For starters, there are a maximum of 7 ingredients in most vape juices. None of the major vaping juices contain the same carcinogenic ingredients as tobacco cigarettes. That is a huge step in the right direction. Vape Juices come in different concentrations, allowing the nicotine dependent user to choose lower nicotine content.

Overall, most E-Cigs contain less nicotine per ml than tobacco smokers inhale per smoke. In fact, many vapers have moved to nicotine free juices, allowing those who vape to decrease their overall nicotine exposure.

In a group of 2000 smokers that switched to vaping, over 95% reported that vaping helped them completely stop smoking tobacco products. That is evidence that is pretty hard to ignore.

While there are many less reliable replacements for nicotine, including nicotine gum and patches, made by big name pharmaceutical companies. The big companies, like the tobacco industry, push for legislation to limit vaping, keeping the big $$$ coming into them directly. Why would they want something less addicting stealing their market share?

Why not take steps to limit your toxic smoke and move to Vaping. You may just get more than you bargained for, like freedom from tobacco and happier lungs.
